I want to build a track T roadster with a 2.4 SRT Turbo motor, I can get a 2.2 /Ax15 bellhousing cheap, and I know people have bolted 2.4s to 568 trannies. Question is will the 2.2/2.5 bellhousing be the same story? I understand one bolt will not line up, but I can get around that pretty easily. Is the starter mounting the same etc. Plans are a 2.4, R154 Supra trans, Aluminum D44 from a Grand Cherokee. 4WDB. In a High Tech/Low Tech (dropped tube front axle W/ coilovers all around) lakes modified (Full Hood 4" straight exhaust out the Pass side and out the back) 25 T. Im guessing ~ 1800 - 2000lbs with 400 HP should do the trick to get me started.

Its gonna be the srT Bucket

I dont have any of the info you need but that sounds cool as hell. And if you do squeeze 400 horse out of it it will most definently be one fast mother f&%#&er.

I have an 05 ACR right now with Stage3/toys PnP Turbo/ exManifold, Ported Intake, TB, Ais I/C, Meth Injection, 3" Exhaust etc...and have put down 406 FWHP I figure I'll go standalone and a AGP Turbo this time as I am not as worried about daily driveability. 400 HP will be a pretty mild tune to start with.

I've located a R154 trans from a 88 Supra Turbo, I just need to know if the Bell housing is going to work. Thanks Murf

I see that, I guess I should state the question.. Will the Starter clear the 2.4 block If I use the 2.2/2.5 bell housing? The shorter length of the 2.2/2.5 bell will help with the input shaft issue, plus I do not have a whole lot of room to rok with as I'm trying to keep the Car as short as possible, and the Radiator set back as far as possible. I already have to contend with the Intercooler, and the fact that I'm 6'5" tall and love small cars dosent help. I need all the legroom I can Muster, so Firewall moving is a iffy subject. Thanks in advance. Murf
