I have a '95 common block 2.5 TBI in my Dakota with the AX-15. I have rebuilt the AX-15 to correct a leaky case and after just a few months I have developed a "tick" when torque is applied in all gears. It sounds like a metallic sound when going off-power to power. To top it all off, it still leaks! Since I am planning on doing a DOHC/turbo conversion anyway I wish to know EXACTLY what is involved in doing a Supra transmission conversion. Or possibly getting a hand from someone with AX-15 experience.
