I have a couple problems with my engine. When I turn on my car, the turbo guage is in the vaccum side at about 20. When I step on the gas, it spools up to about 10 or so and when I shift gears, it goes back down to 20. I want it to stay at zero, and I don't know why this is. And also, when my car is idling and when I'm not speeding up it sounds like the car is backfiring. I really don't know why this is.

And I forgot to add, when the engine hits 4000-4500 rpm, it seems like the engine stalls, it still runs but it cut out or something.

Why do you want it to stay at 0? 20 vac at idle is good. Then as you accelerate you should be getting less vac. You shift to a lower rpm and your vac should be back at 20 or so. Have you done a tune up? (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter etc.) once that is completed come back and tell us if your problem persists.

Bonjour, bienvenue à turbododge.com.

A little off-topic, but what color is your car?

red cars are nothing but trouble! welcome to the board. Check the ecu for codes and check back. Also having a turbo and staying in vacuum can mean the turbo is seized, esp since you cannot rev past 4.5k.
