We finally fired up the colt (i know took almost the complete summer but house and family come before the toys) sounds really good really choppy should be getting it on the dyno before the weekend just going to run some pump gas and get the map clean with low boost then ill spring for the c-16($14 a gallon)so should be at the track in a few weeks if it all goes good on dyno ill keep everyone posted and host some #'s.

Why would you go with a gapless 2nd ring when everyone these days gaps 2nd rings larger then top rings?
My shop does that on their top fuel motor...and every other motor.

went with what total seal suggested i have a custom set of ross pistons in engine and didnt want to buy another set of pistons and have to have assembly rebalanced I started building this engine well before you could get pistons and rods off the shelve this engine has been in 2 cars and i just decided to refresh it after over 5 years of a$$ beatings,so basically I had no choice but to go with a custom set of rings I also run a lot of piston clearance so it sounds like a cummins till it warms up.........

Turbocolt, maybe your friend can give us a hookup ? Something like other dynos? I am down, my car is not tuned to go beyond 15psi but I would still go on a dyno.

Thanks, maybe we can host a dyno day for the TD and neon guys? Something like 5-6 cars for 3-5 pulls each for $65 or so on a Saturday?
