RWD Tranny for your 2.2 / 2.5

I am new to these boards and I just have a question:
What are you guys useing for a rearend for this rwd conversion? I just never seen it mentioned.

Nope the v10 has a much larger bellhousing than the LA motors, found this out trying to bolt a v10 to a la 727. The v10 block looks more like a big-block mopar block (with the crank stuffed half way up the block) with really long magnum-cyl heads. the v10 also has a taller deck height than a la motor and a longer stroke.

I wonder if this is even a feasible undertaking for someone like myself with less-than-average fabrication skills. Probably way expensive to do as well. How about a parts listing for everything necessary? I've seen people give tidbits of info on individual parts but what about something all inclusive?

I'm guessing that most of the people that take this kind of thing on, just figure it out as they go along.

I measered my 88 daytona rotor flange to rotor flange 2 days ago and it's 61.5" wide.

Me and a friend are planning to install a FWD 2.5 block into his jeep. From what I understand all I need is the dakota bell housing, is this right?

Yes... BUT... What Jeep are you talking about? What model, what engine and what transmission is in it right now?

Its a 91 wrangler with a 2.5 and a manual transmission.
