I don't know. You want me to find out don't u? I paid 2 grand for the K frame rack rear sub frame with roll cage diff with axles. That's what I started with. The motor mounts r solid just tubing and plate steel.

Re: RWD Shelby Z

Looks good. Very well built, seems to stay on the ground, hookup, and go straight. Can't ask for better than that! :) You using MegaSquirt on that?

Re: RWD Shelby Z

Nice. I saw earlier in the thread that you had some problems at higher RPM's.. I take it you got that sorted out? What was the problem?

I'm not sure if its fixed yet til I get it out again.
this is what I think might fix it.......

As far as the miss goes and this is pure speculation. With the Rampage using a neon coil pack and wasted spark it used only 2 wires from the mega squirt to fire the coils. With the MS 3 and coil on plug. I'm using a quad spark transistor module. The coil out puts from the MS3 are Logic only (rated for low current draw). Which is fine for LS coils but not the stock 08 3.5 charger coils I'm using. I had the Quad spark wired up to just 2 ms outputs to 4 Quad Spark input wires. And the ms3 has two options for wasted spark. COP wasted spark and Wasted Spark. So I rewired it to use 4 logic level outputs from the ms to 4 input wires to the Quad Spark. Thinking it would put less load on the transistors and have cleaner spark. And configured the software for wasted spark cop.
I hope this makes sense. Like I said my fingers are crossed and we'll see in the spring. I hope to get it into the 10's on this boost setting (16-18) then ramp it up after that.

Re: RWD Shelby Z

Yeah, you're sure it's not something as simple as the size of the spark gap?
