also the 3.3s have a ton more wiring and stuff dont they? not fun for someone like me thinking about stuffing one into an omni. again though, how are you guys adding fuel? and what kind of boost are you running in them?

Have fun playing with the direct ignition. Not adjustable I believe.

I have never tried it, but I think there is a manual trans that will fit a 3.3L. Came in a very limited number of 5-sp equiped Stratus R/T's....

adding fuel by installing 33# injectors inplace of the 19# stockers and a Vortech Super FMU that holds base pressure as well as adds pressure per lb of boost.

I left the map sensor alone and it ran fine.

hey ondonti, is that a pic of your turbo 3.0 on the first page? did you say you may run mid 12's on 5psi? i would like to see some numbers like that when i am done! hey what did you do about an ecu? also, what fmu are you using? i have a vortech sfmu which i think should work good. do you have a home page for that car? also, what size injectors are you using? i want somewhere between 350-400whp when i get done so i was thinking of 38lb injectors?

I ran a 13.9@101.89 on 5 psi boost. Faster then an srt-4 in the traps.
The new setup should run 12's at sea level @ 5psi.

at the time it was stock ecu and a rising rate regulator on 30# injectors.

Dont ever boost a 3.0 on a stock fuel pump btw.

I have a megasquirt 2 sitting in my room but its not getting hooked up anytime soon.

The megasquirt 2 is a Stand alone engine management system replaces your ECU and is completely programable
