I have them, The only thing I noticed is the plenum stays cooler. I plan on testing them at the track.

i don't drag either, but it means shifting at a lower rpm which means that i can keep the gas in the tank better.

Also, I think you guys are not understanding the low end power loss. Its really not noticable at all in a 5 speed car. Fact is that the increase in top end probably tricks you into thinking you lost bottom end.

I can pull 1st through 4th gear from 700 rpms, and I can drive 5th gear at 1000 rpms all day long. You just need to realise that NO car is going to pull hard from 1000 rpms in 5th gear.....just like your car wont pull hard at 5000 rpms in 5th gear either.

BTW, My n/a 3.0 has a fully ported plenum, Ported 58mm tb (mines actually 58mm unlike your 55mm) and I have a full 3 " exhaust. Pretty sure no one else is running a setup that comes near as mine in killing low end power, and what would you know, I still have gobs of low end. Even running open manifolds.

On the dyno, the 3.0 gains big torque on the low end over stock.

Overall top end gains are for sure going to outweight the sligth low end you lose. Simply opening up the exhaust is going to cause you to lose some low end. Like Brent said if your running with a 5 speed you really wont notice. I had 3' exhaust 55mm throttle body and my plenum smoothed and ported and i noticed a substantial difference especially when speeding up onto the highway. You wouldn't think it would make that much but it does help.

Sweet... you guys are Saints. Oh another question. Is the 58mm worth the $300 from forwardmotioninc.com? i heard the 52mm is good till 300hp. is this correct?

get a used one. Mine cost 90 bucks shipped in 2002. Im sure you can get one cheaper now if you can find a Town and country 3.8 in the junkyard.

Odd, car-part.com does not distinguish between a 3.8L Caravan and a 3.8L Town and Country....
