How about a "Y" type manifold, where one throttle body branches out to 2 seperate runners, each one feeding one bank, instead of the current plenum which is a big box with holes around the edges?
But to not have too sharp an angle after the throttle body, the throttle body would have to be several inches further towards the drivers side of the car.
Or maybe one throttle body and its runner goes down the center like the water pump tube does, then 2 180 degree mandrel bends join together and come around to each bank.
