There is a dyno place a few blocks from me I just learned about. $50 for 6 pulls. I dont really feel like going since my turbo motor isnt built and the n/a 3.0 cant really be tuned that much.

Its a dynopack so the results should be pretty accurate. I would like to go but this high elevation and horrible atmospheric effects here kill power. Also this motor is more tired then my last n/a 3.0.

I guess if I got some good corrections it should get near sea level #'s.

No, they are very accurate.

The only people who complain are the retarded people who want to get inflated Dynojet #'s to brag to their friends about. Dynojets produce "600whp" mustangs that get pulled from a roll by an evo......haha.
People often say such and such dyno reads high, but dynojet operators are notorious for screwing with the corrections to make their customer happy. Dynojets are horrible for tuning a car also. They are useful for getting HP/tq #'s to brag about and thats it.

I will definitly get some dyno #'s from my new engine soon. Might not be very good because I dont know how well the car will run with my huge cams and ported heads on the stock computer. Will install my megasquirt someday.

Ill do a 5 psi pull, then do some pulls at higher boost if I have tuned the a/f on the street with my wideband datalogging.

I should have injectors (47#)good enough to go up to 18 psi. Id like to see 400whp+ on pump gas from that. We will see. I could end up being very disapointed since I cant really tune the spark curve at all. I can try swapping between an auto computer and a manual computer (which supposedly retards timing at WOT which should mean either I lose a lot of power or am able to run more boost). Problem with running more boost is I dont have big enough injectors to make my low compression motor knock on pump gas. So no point retarding timing. Only advantage with the manual computer is the rev limiter is ~400 rpms higher. Looking for affordable 84# injectors so I can run 35psi

hmm, i'm not too interested in the rev limiter being higher, as i can get some good pulls with mine anyway.

Not sure what you mean....

People run 35psi on stock internaled 6g72's....I would not go higher then 30 psi on a stock TT motor because the ringlands are weak. I have a nice set of pistons so Im not worried.

Just doing what it takes to have utahs fastest TD.

Well I guess I'll post mine. This was from my 16g setup on 6-7psi. It seems very low, but according to everyone else who dynoed that day the results from that particular dyno were about 30% less than they should be. So I'm led to believe I was really making about 220 - 230whp. The guy running the car also kept stopping at 5400rpms, even though the power curve is obviously still climbing.

I dynoed my Daytona years ago. It was N/A, custom CIA, 52mm T-body, slightly advanced timing(does nothing really), Magnecor wires(nothing really again), 2.5" exhaust w/no cat & straight through muffler, and whole crapload of miles(in the neighborhood of 250,000 IIRC) going through an A604...it put down 130hp. It was right about what I expected. It should be noted that exactly the next day it started to smoke...I suppose the runs to 5800rpm dropped the valve guides...it never smoked before that.
