So heres the turbo i think im going for and you guys let me know what you think...i want to generate about 350 ish hp. So i was thinking a turbonetics To4E t3/t4 hybrid. Im not sure about trim size yet...possibly 54 or 57..that has yet to be seen. .63 a/r housing. i was thinking like 33 lb injectors? im not too sure about mating it all...still trying to understand and research everything. Should i go with the high output fuel pump? like 255lb? what about FPR? Should i go with a rapid rising? I guess i just want some input...still simply gathering ideas and designs along with research. Wink and brent know what's going on so i know you guys can help...along with ed from kelly-mulhern.

please dont get a 57 trim, they are crap

Get a 50 trim. the 54 and 57 dont push as much air and dont have good efficiencies compared to the 50 trim

Get 50 trim eh? you see i thought that at first...for some reason i second guessed myself. The 50 trim made more sense to me in the beginning anyway.

T04E 50 trim compressor and a T3 Stage III turbine in a .63 A/R housing!!!!!!!!!

Or.......

Twin IHI RHB5 BRL3911 compressors.

33# injectors might get you there. But I'd be looking at something a bit larger. I think my 30#'s will top out around 320hp. Personally, if I get past thier limit, I'm going straight to 36#'s.

The adjustable fuel pressure regulator...a given...the walbro...a given...injectors are sort of where i have some hickups....along with fuel management stuff....megasquirt sounds good...but involved but then again so is a turbo. Where can you even buy megasquirt setups?

you can buy megasquirt at www.glensgarage.com or if you dont like soldering or dont want to you can find more vendors that sell completed kits at http://www.megasquirt.info/v22manual/mintro.htm#group. I intend to start out with some 27LB/hr turbo 1 injectors. I'm going to piggyback the megasquirt at first to get the fuel just right then go full control when the 543 goes in the car.

I just typed a whole giant paragraph then realized that it was wrong.
I run megasquirt v 2.2 with extra code on my sundance turbo 2 you can read about extra code here:

http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/

It has some very cool features.

So to answer your question I reccomend this: http://www.glensgarage.com/catalog/p...products_id=30
with the 3 bar map options and EDIS 6. Put in a 543, lose the TCM, the SBEC and half of the underhood wiring. Only problem I see so far is you'll lose cruise if you take out the SBEC. Another option is to leave it in place and run just enough sensors to it to keep it happy enough to run cruise and whatever else you might need it for (A/C). I've been meaning to get some wiring diagram for my Spirit ES and see what can go and what has to stay. Megasquirt Version 2 is also available. It currently has less features and doesn't support the extra code but it's definately worth looking into.

I really like the Ford EDIS 6 igniton setup. Read about it here:
http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/ex...atyouneed.html

The hardest part about the EDIS setup is mounting the 36-1 wheel on your crank pulley. Not impossible though

Correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't this be redundant?

And am I the only one that thinks the same fuel pressure for 8 psi @ 3000 rpm and 8 psi @ 6000 rpm is a bad thing?

i was going to try tokeep the stock one but just use the megasquirt to run the fuel, the ignition will be still run by the factory one for now. but i want to keep cruise, a/c and the little goodies so it will all be staying i just want to better control fuel.
