man i thought i was the only one interested in boosting my chrysler sohc 3.0! sweet forum! anyway, check out my cardomainhttp://www.cardomain.com/ride/2066425

this eaton m90 is re-geared and has a titanium shaft as well as the smallest pulley possible w/ out having to grind the nose away. it has also been heavily ported and is good to 25psi w/out case distortion. the guy i got it off of though says he ran 30psi on it once but thats just to much if you ask me. i am hoping to get this project done by late spring so i will keep everyone informed of my progress if you are interested.

yeah...removed the a/c and made a bracket for the alternator. a/c never worked anyway and i wanted to get rid of some weight. i also have a brand new forged crank from a TT 3000gt, pauter rods, a heavily ported intake manifold, a 5spd trans w/ 350 gears and phantom grip extreme LSD, huge turboworks intercooler, etc...i will post some pics if you want.

nice body work btw...that acclaim cleaned up nice!

Yes pics would be great. Yeah, my a/c still works so i am trying to find a way to keep it but still use the sc. I have a 3.77 543, lower gear ratio=more accelleration. bty, that pic is a little outdated, it does have the door on it now. I haven't done much body work to though, mostly on the door and door sill. sorry to disappoint you but its a lebaron.

You hurt yourself by putting that forged crang from a 3000GT in there... you just increased weight... the stock cast crankshaft can handle up to 1100hp i beleive PLEASE CORRECT IF I AM WRONG

sweet...hey are you the first one to do this? also, is you s/c on upside-down? mine is going to be mounted regular. what was the benefit of that? also, how much hp can i push before i blow the motor and waht is likely to blow up? i was thinking the rods or the pistons where the weakest link but i am not sure. maybe the bearings or the valve springs are?

get forged pistons... the cast ones are made to be lightweight and are quite thin with very little skirt...

Wiseco does, i know that, u can re-program the ecu, you will need to socket the e-prom and get a cable to attach to it. There is some info on the chrysler3litrev6 site, also if u can get any info out of him, thalk to nick boers, he is the one who started it i believe, he never finished it though.

The pistons are usually the weakest link

You cannot reprogram the ECU in the 3.0 application yet. No one has deciphered the code enough.
