Well thats the thing, I haven't put the MSD coil in yet. All I'm running right now is the MSD box. And just with that I have noticed that difference. So I'm thinking when I put in the MSD coil with the MSD box, it should make a little more yet, especially since my stock coil is probably crap.

If you were closer to Indy, I would offer you the chance to prove on a dyno that it actually makes a difference...

It (my 5.0 coil) ran my motor just fine on plugs that had a .075" gap. I put new plugs in the junkyard motor and I couldnt tell the difference.

I used the MSD6AL and I kept it on for a week. It didn't feel ANY different than it used to. I would never recommend a 6AL to anyone w/ my motor/electronics. When I was told it wouldn't make a difference before I installed it, I didn't believe it. Because the Box sent power to the coil, which then went to the distributor. So how could Chrysler hinder the 6AL? Well I don't know how but it looked the same w/ my timing gun and I didn't feel anything.

It is not the same resistance. They suggest putting a balast resistor in. I didn't w/ no problems. anyone do it and notice a difference?
