I am curious how much interest there is in adjustable cam sprockets.

Mike has a design that we are toying with testing, but we would like to know if there is any real interest. Based on our current estimates, the cost would be ~$250/set assuming atleast 10 sets.

If there is real interest we get started with having the proto-type made (about 1 month.) Time to test.

We will not be collecting any money until after the testing is done and we are satisfied with the results.

Thanks

I would eventually like to get a set. But I'm not ready to purchase a set just yet.

Definately something I'd like to have for the future, providing they actually produce decent results on our motors.

The time frame would probably be more than a month. I think Mike would like to put a BUNCH of miles on the prototype to make sure that they hold up...

Mike and I can fully appreciate how much a turbo project can cost!

after I finish paying for everything else.

I just had a bad dream about paying the machine shop last night.

I guess I would have to check out some dyno results. Those results would probably be most interesting on the stein after mike has checked out their durability.

Current plan is for four bolts.

Are the 24valve SOHC cam gears the same as our 12valve SOHC cam gears, if so fidanza makes a set and can be had off ebay for not too much. Just a thought

are you referring to the Stratus or 3000GT. The GT is DOHC.

They are not the same. The 24v SOHC setup has a slightly wider timing belt and a higher count of narrower teeth.

Only FOUR bolts? I wouldn't consider that anywhere near good enough. Go with 6 or 8 bolts.
