It was in jest...it's cool..I laughed!

Thanks for the complements, I appreciate it. I can tell you that IF I decide to upgrade the intake it would more than likely be with the 6-pack from RPW. It seems to me that the pure over-the-top nature of that product fits the demenour of the car perfectly.

That being said, the designs I have come up with have all been with high boost in mind and all aimed at being used on my first 'Tona that is currently in moth balls in my backyard....

bah, my roomates and I all like to reply to biting comments by saying something like "your face is..........." and repeat whatever theysaid but start with "your face" We say your mother sometimes, but it is not as funny as when you say your face.

"your face is a twin log" its probably only funny if you are realy bored and everyone is playing around goodnaturedly.

So, when chris says, "my tona is in mothballs" I would say, "your face is in mothballs".

Im pretty excited about the project, and I want to get the intake manifold done as quickly as possible.

My crank/dampener/flywheel are getting balanced tomarrow (they might have started today). The Rods have been resized, and shot peened (I didnt ask for that but that is what they do no matter what). Manley valve springs came in yesterday. We are still waiting on the valves.

My machinists are way cool guys btw. They will just shoot the breeze with me. The owner is out in Kansas running the top fuel car this weekend so I didnt talk to him.

All I can say is at least you found a machinist that isn't affraid or unwilling to do something that isn't "the norm"(aka Chevy). Around here I can wiave as much money as I want at these rednecks and they STILL don't want to touch it. So, whenever I want to do something I either have to find a way to do it myself, have a friend do it, or outsource it if possible....it SUCKS!

BTW, I got the joke...I thought it was funny

yeah, he has been a big help. Even though he is willing to help, the still runs into people who always help him, not wanting to help with this project (aka Si valves).

One of the workers was bragging yesterday about this kid they have who can balance like no other. Hopefully that means he does a good job on my stuff :P

I like this idea. Stock Tb, Divider, 2 logs, and open center.
