I have a 95 Plymouth Voyager. I have a rebuilt 3.0 and 543 trans that I'm going to install.

It currently has the stock exhaust.

I have an exhaust from my former 94 Turbo Van...2.5" downpipe, 3" high flow cat, 3" dynomax muffler, 2.5" side dump out under the sliding door.

Would this hinder or help performance? I know that with a 2.5" exhaust, my 3.0 3 speed spirit was much slower. Low end, anyway.

why not 2.5" high flow cat completing a whole 2.5" exhaust, i'm sure you will lose some low end but will pick up high end freeway, with the a543 it might not be soo noticable if its a 3.77 gearing?

The van I had before was turbocharged, so I made it as big as possible. Autozone didn't have 90* curves in 3". :-P
