Ya know.. When I swapped the new harness into my Horizon, there were two harnesses near the battery that used the same plugs, I got them reversed and had a helluva time figuring that one out.. You didn't do something similar, did you?

Nope, i didnt mix anything up.

Im using a AA body engine harness, and the P body engine bay harnss. That meant for some reason the signal ground wire was missing from the engine harness connector. The signal ground was located on the 19 pin connector for the starter. You cant mix them up becuse the wires are totally different. Everything else on the engine harness connector (grey and black) are the same.

I have to go figure out how Im gonna fix the 5v signal now.

Ah, are you mixing AA and AP harnesses?? If so I think that may be your problem... Look at the color of the wires on either side of the connectors, they should be the same color...

I wouldnt call anything quick. Ive spent like 20 hours with the thing.

Oh, and I drained the battery on my spirit from having jumper cables hooked up all day to trouble shoot the duster.

We use one just like that at work to keep the car turned on all day long. Very handy. Pretty decent price..

Yay, the TPS is fixed. I now get 5v at the power line, and the signal line starts around .58v @ idle and goes up to 3.62v at WOT. Problem was that I had AA body engine harness and AP body engine bay harness. For some reason the TPS wires are all different between the two and everything else is the same. I had to do a little cheating on the wiring but it works!!!!

I will advanced the timing so it sounds healthier.

Well the car went about 8 blocks :P Now I got to push it home tomorrow.

The wideband all of a sudden decided it didnt want to work when I went out for my drive (just read 21.00) and the single wire coolant temp sensor was not working. grrrr.

It seems after the engine warmed up, it wants to go into closed loop, but since my o2 isnt working right it doesnt get any feedback and dies if Im not careful.

Also, it died when I accidentally pushed in the clutch at about 3000-4000 rpms and the motor dropped to zero.....then wouldnt start again when I let the clutch out again.......made some weird slipping noises on the clutch I think. Grrrrrrr

Looks like I got more problems.

On the good/bad side, The car is insanely loud........and i definitly have a large power loss in the low rpms with this cam. Im sure I dont have the classic 3.0 flat torque line.

Damn, that sucks w/ the cam thing. I went mild and still noticed I lost considerable low end. But Top end kinda makes up for it.
