Motor is sitting in the driveway :P

I torqued the bottom end down. I have a crapload to do still.

Clean out oilpan, rear main, oil pump & pickup, bolt on oilpan, fix the oil feed lines so they dont leak.
Then flip motor back over, take out the rocker assemblies, lube the cams, add 1 more washer to each lifter, then put it back together, then put on flywheel, clutch PP, put tranny on engine, put lower intake on. Install crank bolt, Timing belt, set cam timing, TIming belt covers, then passenger side engine brackets. Install turbo crossover

Then install motor I guess. THen more work.

I did manage to get the rear main seal torqued in, and also the oil pump torqued in.

The crappy cd player I use outside doesnt want to work anymore so that makes it pretty lame to work outside in the cold on a car.

Wrenching in the cold sucks. Working with cold wrenches pulls the heat right out of your hands. Suddenly the slips that whack your nuckles against something go from being painful to making you do the dance of agony while hoping you didn't break something.

Add to all that doing it in the dark like me 90% of the time and now you've got the true meaning of working-on-a-car-hell! It seems I NEVER get the cahnce to work on something during the day. Good thing I finally have some big @ss lights!!!

I think what i meant to say was.....did he purchase the pre built ones. Not like the ones that you can assemble and put what you want in them. I have only glanced at MS for like 5 mins. I need to look into buying the setup for my turbo setup soon.

mine is already assembled. Im not really worried about getting it to work yet.

I work on the car at night most of the time..........I just aim these lights on the house towards where Im working then I use a desklamp to see up close.

Last year I installed a motor in my spirit under a tarp while it was snowing in the middle of the night. I needed the car for transportation so I had some motivation. Now just being a little bit cold makes me not want to work.

Im mostly just mad that my CD player doesnt work.

I will send it in but I probably just need to buy another one. i absolutly cant get anything done without some music to keep me happy. I dont have any friends who want to sit in the cold at midnight working on car stuff.
