You mean other than ordering it from Jegs? Or going down to the local racetrack?

bought a crappy new lamp (walmart $5.97)

THere are no fluids in the motor, oil lines to the turbo need to be hooked up..attached the air filter on the turbo....not sure if there is much else. Make sure the electronics are working.

I have a crapload of schoolwork to finish before saturday so I probably need to stop on the car.

Well, turning it over to get oil pressure and I have no compression.

Not happy.

not sure if its the cam timing or that the valves are not closing. My dsm friend seems sure that even if the valves were not closing it would read something.

Hey Brent,

I think our calcs were off a hair. Or the washers are thicker than expected.

It could be with the extra washers, the lifters haven't pumped down and are keeping the valves open, or there too thick.

We went with .100" shim on the lifter since we figured that the cam had .067" material removed, and on the 3.0 the lifter is on the other side of the rocker (1.5 ratio).

The lifters are not pumped up at all. they were not pumped up when I installed them and I dont have oil pressure yet.

Wink, I measured and it was about exactly .100" shim I added.
considering the lifters are empty this seems rediculous.
