Finished!! Forged piston block, Custom valve head (flowbenched)

Well I just bought an OBX (it was on sale) with some new bevelle washers and bolts. TU had a sale that ends in like 2 hours... it was $444 shipped with the washers and bolts.

I dont know if I will get it when I need it so i might have to pull the drivetrain again to install it. I dont really want to wait.

Then Ill take out the phantom grip and put it in my spirit (with some extra washers) when I replace the clutch.

GRR im jealous i was wanting to get one but tires are in order for me. Also how hard is it to instanll the obx?

Well i have installed a phantom grip before when I Had no idea what I was doing so I dont think this will be horrible.

Im going to be taking it apart and replacing all the insides.

to install you basically open up the trans and install ring gear from your stock dif.

I was thinking about changing the gearing (swap the 3.50 final to a 3.77 gearset) but I am realizing that basically the only significant difference is 4th gear and with slicks expansion I think it will make me slower

I dont see how its really of any advantage for a supercharged car as the difference is almost nothing.

no I have been to busy with school and now this afternoon the weather sucks and i was told it will suck for the rest of the week. Finally when I have time

I wanted to get the car together...make some money off a few then race at the track (ordered so I can still get races).

I went to gateway last night and watched a bunch of retarded races....people who cant launch and people who could and still ran crappy times. Kinda made me realize just how fast josh simons n/a was and how fast your car should be brent there were some Ls1s you could have killed.

Oh the race I am looking forward to most is with an auto LS1 with some mods and drag radials. its only a 13.5 car or so (high elevation for teh loss) and he might sneak some spray in but im not worried if he does.
It wont be a fair race......but he doesnt know and he thinks the style of car I have is "crap" (which I agree with publicly when talking to him so he will race).
Lucky for me there are a lot of very slow cars that look similar around here and have "turbos"

I dont think it can be fair as 6psi will make about the same power as him and im...1300# lighter or so..oops
