good job is the understatement. Kudos to you for your willpower and perserverance. I have faith that you will astonish those who are/were in disbelief. Just remember, I'm not too far behind you.
I don't think I'll be using as extravagant as a snail though.
Though, I still want the 12's in the future as a daily driver.

Well since the package got delayed by UPS I will have to wait till monday night before I even get my OBX differencial back from the shop all ready to go.

Means I cant accomplish much on the car and this will now interfere a bit with my school/homework schedule. I hope I dont get set too far behind to miss the races on the 18th. I think as long as I keep it at 6psi and just tune the a/f a bit that should be good enough for the first time at the track.

Just talking to the transmission shop guy made me paranoid that they will overcharge and that it will take forever cause it will get "sidelined" for other jobs.

Well I have lots of good pictures to post when i have time....depends when I give up working on the car today.

Got the OBX shim'd + new bearings

Transmission assembled again. Had to pull apart everything to put "the right stuff" gasket maker on. Also figured out that I had been using the wrong bolts on the bobble strut bracket...previous bolts were a lot bigger and had just been digging into the diff case cover and not actually bolting into the trans (too fat to fit into the threads but it was self threading into the larger holes in the diff cover). Got some longer skinnier bolts and they fit all the way to the transmission and actually threaded into the trans case. Im glad I never cracked anything from not having all the bolts in the cover actually going "through" to the trans case.

The good stuff

How is this going to fit?

I think the engine is bigger then the car

The Tial 38 is really only on for "bling" pictures, I pull it off when I actually drop the motor.

Tip down the tranny side

easy fit

Showing off the t4 P-trim turbine wheel (hardly visible, sorry)

This is easy

Not even a scrape. Removing the crank pulley is a must!

Ready to start installing.

Oldschool Paul "steal"abile delrin filled mount.

passenger and drivers engine mounts installed. I sorta lost the drivers side super long bolt and was really pissed till I found it in the car.

Another Bling shot

Firepower

Fuel lines hooked up

Nitrile gloves>latex....they still got a bit shredded but this was the 2nd time using this pair so hands are still pretty clean.

that transmission looks great. I did the same thing on my passenger side motor mount, I filled it in with windshield urethane. The tube cost 12 bucks and I still have enough to fill in the trans mount. Did you have to remove the radiator to fit the engine in there? I didnt take mine out when I took out the engine because I removed it from below.

I painted so everything was already removed.

The tranny mount is not "urethane" filled. That is just some urethane crap on the outside that isnt even attached anymore. The actual stock mount is filled with pieces of "delrin" which is a very hard plastic that the old 1" intake spacers were made of.

Currently Im having a little bit of a shifter cable issue so I had to start modding it. Didnt get to finish cause it was too late to use my 5" rotary cutter to finish chopping up part of the shifter.

There is a new problem here that I am still fixing.I have to re-angle the closest cable so it leads straight to the shifter linkage.

Beautiful job on the turbo setup. I wish you guys had done this back when my Duster still had the V6. I might not have done the engine swap to the 2.2 turbo!

Go to Kelly-Mulhern Performance for the buildup of the manifolds.

30# injectors on lower boost. I have some 47# injectors that didnt want to run properly on 20psi base pressure.
I will try them again when I get the motor working properly.
Ive got too many projects going on with the car and all I really want to do is race.
Mike at KMP got me my custom spacers today so the custom intake manifold project is back on.....and I still need to figure out that MS like m90daytona has already mastered.
