I also want to setup an alky injection kit to spray 100% Meth and I will make sure I spray a LOT of meth since I will be using it for additional fueling.
I think 7:1 compression and meth can make LOTS of power on 91 octane.
My idea is to try to run 100-200hp worth of meth in the future.

That and I want to rig up a knock sensor and datalog it on my zeitronix. Toooo many projects for a car that doesnt run.

if the cal doesn't work from Cindy, I'm going to suck up my pride and take it to a local shop who makes "custom" standalone systems. It will cost about 4-5 times the cal will but will be tuned and dyno'd for the engine safely. This is a job I personally leave to professionals because my expensive investment isn't worth destruction. I personally know I'm not capable of wiring an MS setup. Kudos to those who have the skill and time-not to mention patience.

Finished welding the adapter pipe for my downpipe. Now I can have the car be a little bit quieter.
Still lots of work to do. Im having shifter problems after lifting it so much. my spirit runs the shifter cables in a different spot through the firewall so its not an issue on that car.

I thought having the shifter cables go up at such a steep angle to the shifter might be a problem, that's probably gonna screw up the geometery of the whole shifter setup.

Based on the photos, I think you'd have to drill new holes in the firewall further up and forward, so the shifter cable mounting bracket can keep its original shape. So you'd have to un-modify it if that's the case.

But you don't need the shifter to work to start the engine! Crank it up and show us a good video of it!!!

Ive got too many projects going on with the car and all I really want to do is race.
Mike at KMP got me my custom spacers today so the custom intake manifold project is back on.....and I still need to figure out that MS like m90daytona has already mastered.

thanks for the compliment but its not true...

i still am having a little bit of problems w/ the idle and still have not tuned it completely yet. my job has been stressing me out and the daytona has been on the "backburner" for a couple weeks. but i was at peter farell supercars in maryland today to help my buddy pick up his turbo lexus and i got the motivation back so i may mess w/ it this weekend. whenever you are ready to install ms send me a pm.

I got the cables working. I realise that if I redid the holes in the firewall then I would need a stock shifter :P
Anyways I will probably pick up another one some other time.
Just put the intercooler back on etc. Had to do some more cutting cause it never fit very well.

Here you can see I had to cut and bend the tabs back so I didnt kink the shifter cables. They like to go perfectly straight over to the shifter.

Got the IC installed again. I cut up some of the body again on the bottom right of the picture...near the elbow you can see a little bit of shine from where I was attacking with the cutter. Now things fit better.

I was working on putting the engine bay electrical harness back in when I quit. I spliced in different turn signals (the spirit sideways style ones rather then the crap stock p-body ones).

Basically got the car all together.
Im gonna wait till after my finals this week to start it up.
Got real annoyed trying to make that air filter fit better. I guess before it was hitting the hood. Who woulda' thought. Oh well now it fits. Its not like my hood really closes like it should though. My hood sticks up about 1-2" lol. Also got the turn signals working. Apparently the flasher that I had 'replaced" was also bad.
I love looking at this thing. I wish the rest of the car was not so ugly.
