Removed my fuel pump today and confirmed its REAL not a chinese one

Note how its shiny and smooth on the outside. The fakes are dull colored and not so smooth. The fakes look like a brighter aluminum color with sandpaper feeling surface.

The other pump is the one I damaged in that big electrical problem I had.
The pump on the left is from Foward Motion 3 months ago, the pump on the right is from TU about 1.5 years ago.

Had to replace some wheel studs along with the other work.

Funny camera angle I guess so the cam timing doesnt look lined up with the center mark (106 deg)

Here is the reason I couldnt shift gears above 3000 rpms!

Putting the hood back on after reinstalling the engine.

Damn, Ondonti, how many times have you had the motor in & out of that car now? 5 at least? Looks like you're getting pretty good at it, anyhow.

When you changed the clutch, how much wear was left on that 3 puck disc? Did you put it back in?

Its a single diaphragm. similar to the sachs plate I broke in that picture. +40% clamping force over a tIII. Combine that with an insanely aggressive 3 puck solid disc and we have fun.

Ondonti, I've been following this car for some time now (various sites). Please tell me about your turbo. I'm working on a DOHC swap (megasuirt and all that crap) for the better heads (and steel crank), BUT I want to run a SINGLE turbo (in the Y-pipe, as yours is).
What's the hot side size? I have a single .48 (.42 compressor) and wonder if it's worth hybrid-izing, or whether I should just look for another unit instead of trying to "hotrod" the POS I already have. PM if you don't want to clutter this thread with my 'jacking... I'd really appreciate the info - no matter how it gets to me ;-)
Again, I've followed your 3.0 for some time, much props for your accomplishment(s)!!!
Best Regards,
LeBeercan

Hey Ondonti, what size fuel injectors are you using? Im thinking of buying this 94 Duster 3L 5spd with a bad motor for $200. I know i gotta get the forged internals, do some head work and some of the other stuff you did. I dont feel like going back and looking for what you used.

I just put new plugs in and started the car up.
Vacuum and a/f look good and the engine sounds good except I need to losten the 3 bolt flange on the bottom of the downpipe and crank the V band on the turbo down (need to tighten the vband first or it wont seal up properly because of how the exhaust hangs.

Weeeeee

Dang happy.
