That ride last night was the scariest/most fun ride I have ever had in a car! The video really doesnt do it justice. Good job Brent.

Tank lid comes out into the engine bay. I put this where a normal car has the charcoal canister. Pump sits behind the bumper.
Mmmm stealth

Damn nice install. Let me know what your plans are tomorrow night, and I will bring you that m5 jet you need. Plus Jesse and nate want to see the car.

Definitely need to make a video like that in the daytime so it can be seen easier.

lol car is covered in snow now
Need to finish some school stuff and hopefully the snow goes away. Cory is going to come down here and we will try using his wideband controller since mine is dead to tune the car and see if we can safely increase the boost. I think im gonna run E85 in the alky system for now. Im basically just using it to add fuel as I dont need the octane right now.

When i have the engine running on

4, 6 and any combination of 1 2 3 5 it runs horrible

Run the engine on JUST 1 2 3 5 and the engine behaves just the same as if all 6 injectores were plugged in.

So 4 and 6 are fouling out or getting too much fuel or something.

I know the injectors are not stuck open because I had this problem before and they were not leaking then and when i swapped injectors into this intake manifold I did not keep them in the same order.
I also tried a different ECU.

On a lame note....my 3.5L dodge AIS motor seems to be stuck open.? anyways its not my main concern.
Just out of curiosity what Spark Plugs are you using? Platinum tipped spark plugs fail when they come in contact with oil in the combustion chamber with almost certainty. And oil in the combustion chamber can become common on a 3.0 or a turbocharged motor. I would think regular copper NGKs would be the best...

copper champions and autolite resistors

Ive probably had 30-40 plugs in the engine over the last 6 months.

Right now it has 4 champions and 2 autolites because crap got on two champions (think it was from that crappy gasket I roughly cut out for the TB) and fouled them. I was in a hurry that night to go play around with Bansheenut's car so i wasnt real interested in cleaning off the copper plugs and making them work again.....or swapping all the plugs.

in my experience, on a japanese motor, NGKs seem to run better. i ran them in my 12v with good results and im running them in the 24v now as well. *shrug*

Normally run NGKs but the only place that carries them is Napa and quick plug replacements dont facilitate shopping at a place the closes way to early and is not very close.

I figured out today why it fouls plugs.

The engine runs really really rich at sub 1000 rpm idle and the camshafts mean not a lot of compression (also the pistons cause that).

So if I start up the engine and let the rpms get below 1300 or so rpms (like if it dips to 800-900) then it will misfire (cold engine) and foul the plug.

So theoretically to start the car I have to adjust the idle speed higher until it warms up. Then once it warms up, turn it back down. When I have megasquirt in then I will have a lot more control and I think this problem will go away because I can idle it lean.

The bad thing is that while I have been messing with the plugs after I fouled them, the plugs stopped sparking to the tip and they are now sparking from the body of the plug to the intake maanifold (Testing plugs by inserting them into the boot, then laying them on the intake manifold and turning the engine over with the injectors unplugged.
You look to see if the spark is strong at the electrode and not sparking anywhere else.

Anyways its not working (always has before) even with a new plug......

Edit: I tried on my spirit and it does a similar thing. I guess the cold air is making things act funny
