The ST springs *should* drop the rear about an inch IIRC. I never personally used them...just refferencing what I've been told over the years.
The shocks can hold up to 200psi IIRC...be careful as they fill up FAST!
It wasn't turning that I noticed the loosness with...it was fast transition(think slalom). They HELPED a HUGE amount with constant turning! Like I said, it was like I had a HUGE rear sway bar!

Well sounds like I can pump them up and do some FWD drifting
The ST springs dropped my spirit like 1.5 in the rear but I wasnt sure if the P body would behave differently because of differences in stock spring height between the two cars (if a difference exists).
I just use my old hand held bike pump so hopefully that will be adequate for the air shocks. I might need a better air gauge though. Can electric ones measure 200psi?

Electric air gages? Some of them can I beleive. I dunno about inexpenive ones from parts stores. I can tell you that 60#'s in mine was PLENTY to make a difference. I dunno how easy it's going to be to do with a bicycle pump...never tried it..

Ahh, I didnt think about the fact that putting lots of pressure into something with a bike pump will suck. I do also have one of those electric compressors for tires that plugs into the 12 volt. I think those things can do quite high pressure (they just dont really move any air). I keep that in the Duster anyways.

There isn't lot of volume needed to fill those shock up anyways. If the pump is halfway decent it *should* be able to do an ok job at filling them up.

it also goes faster and easier if you pick up on the rear bumper while it or you is pumping. Creates a negative pressure and fills up faster.

That would require having a rear bumper lol. I would tear the cover off.

Or just always service the shocks when it's up in the air. This way you will always have a consistant servicing. There will be no room for error if you have something in the car moving the weight around. (you never know)
But, by the way I see it, you're just going by test and tune methods. In this case, just ignore my banter.

I dont understand what you are saying about servicing the shocks.
But with the new tires and the ST springs...with almost no pressure (20ish psi) in the shocks, the car is really really really loose on corners. I could probably tokyo drift yo.
Got a 1.873 60' last night but everything else went wrong.

Should have said... "pressurize the shocks."
AKA Service the shocks with air. I guess it's just my aircraft MX lingo coming out again.

I think the clutch was probably slipping on all 3 passes. Pressure plate not engaging all the way. Tomorrow I am going to do some work to figure out if the pressure plate is to blame or if the clutch arm stuff is messed up on that transmission. I am pretty sure it is the pressure plate which means I will be screwed till I get a good one.

Here is my current clutch problem.
I believe by swapping to the old style arm, my pressure plate will be able to full engage

I just swapped to the older clutch arm and the clutch feels like normal now
