now,I know that speed sensors were an issue in my old VNT Comp car.. this sound like the same deal?? in my v6 auto??

I'd check the MAP sensor. My Spirit had those symptoms way back when, and that was the cause.

it can be reflashed depending on the year. To get it re-flashed it will cost about 60-75. a new one will be like 200-300

when I called the dealer on my 94 3.0 604 and 543 they said that they can't re-flash those at all. Was he full of it?

Yeah, but they may not have the connectors anymore. I got my 94 Spirit re-flashed twice, with the 97 update and the 2000 upgrade. The 543 doesn't have anything to flash!

You can't use a turbododge Map.

Check your speed sensor.
