My response:
I understand what you mean, but I know that the rotating assembly is in perfect condition. The engine has been rebuilt including new rings, main bearings, rod bearings, core plugs, oil pump, and water pump. I had the block acid dipped to have all the oil and coolant passages cleared of any crud that could have caked onto the walls. This is on my 1995 Plymouth Voyager 5-speed. Compression is good across the board.
