realistically, that kind of power would only be achievable w/ a turbo or nitrous on these motors. One person has done 250whp N/A motor, but it was a very built motor and high compression. My setup is .100 over bore JE free floating pistons, cryo'd and blueprinted, then I'm installing a T04 turbo, kinda like brent's (Ondonti's) setup. Bolt on's such as plenum spacers, larger TB, UDP, exhaust, etc are readily available through fwdperformance.com, and other vendors in the LINKs section of this forum. If you consider anything major, especially if you're new w/ these motors, drop a line (thread) in the 3.0Liter section and you get decent responses relatively quick. Many of us know what is tried and true w/ modifications or know where to get the information/resources.

Just a turbo setup will easily get you to the 250whp....

I would like to build that motor then turbo or supercharge it hopefully that is what my plan is as of now and get a new tranny to handle it.

Hold on to your wallet like you would hold your steering wheel at 120mph, cause to build these blocks it takes time patience, and especially money. My block alone is going to run me 2300 before the cryotreatment which most will say isn't necessary. My philosophy is if you want 300hp, built it to hold double that goal so there is no margin for lost investments. After cryo it will be about 3500 dollars cause the block (disassembled) has to get sent to North Carolina where a guy does it there. The cost isn't that much for the treatment, but finding someone who does it is a completely different story.
