I'm talking about ported/polished heads, exhaust mods, every intake mod, and CAMS. With all these mods, you might be able to surpass the average 220-ish hp that our stockers can handle.

I take that back. Our injectors will flow enough fuel for about 180-190hp max on stock fuel pressure. And by then, you'll need to have the before mentioned modifications to get past that level.

Yeah I hear tell it tops around 175ish, and that you would probably be around there with good porting, intake and exhaust mods.

If the HP ratings, on all the mods I have done so far, are accurate, then I am well past that. I don't think I am running lean though.

I'd have to say I'm probably @ about 200 hp on my engine. And I'm still using stockers. Now most would say that is hoopla and perhaps they are right. My car cuts a 0-60 in under 5.7 seconds and w/ my head work, and bolt ons, I have even toned down the FP on stock injectors. What makes me angry is those who think more fuel will yield more HP. Well, not necessarily. If you don't have the displacement or flow to match the fuel, it'll never get burned and in saying that, more fuel could actually lower hp to an extent. We don't rev past 6K very well, so we could never take advantage of more fuel on a practically stock motor. Maybe I have a decent match of performance parts. Maybe my "butt" dyno is way off w/ my claimed numbers, being too cheap to dyno it. But I have raced quick cars and timed my 0-60's. I can take a mild modified 5.0 to 60, even my buddy's SRT from a 20mph roll to 70 until he starts to pull on me. Taken 05 and previous stock GT mustangs from a roll w/ little problem. I'm not trying to glorify my vehicle, but it holds its own very well. I amaze people w/ my little duster. Maybe I am at about 180hp and that's all it takes to get this little car moving, who knows. One day in the near future, I will dyno it. Thinking of it, I think I'll do it in the next month and post the results.

how do you know they're maxxed out? Because you can't get any more power out of your engine? That doesn't mean they're maxxed out. Have you done anything to the engine besides bolt ons, or gone w/ FI? Because squeezing 180hp out of the stock motor would be doable, but very hard w/ the head design alone N/A. More fuel is only good if you can match it one of two ways. 1.) Displacement 2.) Forced Induction. Do you have a AFPR on it? You can get a bit more out of the stock fuel system w/ a few more fuel psi. Define: Maxxed out.

Well I dont think anyone posting here including myself has an n/a car that is outdoing the stock injectors

Josh pulled 96mph traps on stock injectors. I have traped 92mph in a heavier car on 30# injectors set at 31psi (~= to stock injectors/fuel pressure). Only was using those because i put a turbo on the car the next week. The car made more power (proven at a high elevation track) with a different motor that had stock injectors/regulator but I never raced it at sea level to compare.

I havent seen anyone post information as to why they need more fuel besides that they "think" they are making a power level. I know how much power my car was making last year at sea level and I was not running out of fuel on similar to stock setup. Josh never ran out of fuel either and he was making a bit over 190WHP on his high compression motor. 200whp might be pushing it, but to go from 190whp to 200whp probably is not going to happen with a mild cam upgrade.

damn it, I'm just going to dyno my F-ing car and see what I can get out of it N/A. Also it will help me compare when I boost. As soon as I get my refund check, dyno is definitely in order. Right after I do my oil pan, rear seats, and a few other little fixer-uppers. I'd really like to get some body work done to it finally. Who knows.
