I have a 92 lebaron. I come from a good backround in DSM(eclipse talon laser's). I have picked my lebaron for a decent price, for a daily driver. Then realizing that I need more power. I am looking to turbo her. What do you guys use to control your fuel? I have herd of using a RR APR(ie vortech?) to control the larger injectors. Getting a manifold is going to be my main problem. Anyone wanna custom make me one? Where are you guys taking your oil feed line from? Because of the small I/C I am also planing on making a dumb water/alcohol injection(my 60 trim 412.5AWHP GSX loved it)
What I have:
Fresh EVO 3 16g
450cc injectors(any know how many pounds that is?)
2g DSM SMIC
1g DSM BOV
Boost
Narrowband A/F
Exhaust pyro

Needed:
APR
Fuel pump?
Manifold
I/C pipes

He is using the 42lb injectors because he is a dsm guy using parts around the shop.

Should give a lot more room on the stock fuel pump since fuel pressures wont be so high.

In mid-October I plan on pulling the engine out of Daytonastein. At that time I will be making templates to build more...

You have the turbo mounted to where the downpipe would normally mount on a stock manifold right?

When I have turboed a n/a in the past I have always had to have some sort of piggy back fuel system. Does the stock computer compensate for larger injecters? If things go well with the evo 3 16g on this car I have a garret MHI hybrid off my eclipse that is sitting around as well, along with some 950cc injectors(way way overkill.)

I used a vortech super FMU for my supercharger setup. It worked really well. The injectors I used were 33# units from a dodge turboII(probably wont work for you if you've got the higher imped injectors tho). If you're interested in selling that EVO 3 leme know. My talon is begging for something bigger =)

Actually the turbo sits over the rear valve cover. The manifold replaces the rear manifold.

Look for the Daytonastein pictures on www.kmperformance.com

That is looking interesting Ed. Is the idea that you will produce a kit eventually? If so have you tried replacing the cat-con with a turbo?

running for cover ...

That looks cool. Any ball park on what you are going to charge?

DO you guys think that a non-super fmu would work fine?

I havn't come up with a price yet... I plan on taking this in stages.

-manifold
-down pipe
-oil return (including oil pan conversion.)

The rest of the pieces are ready available from a variety of sources. I can provide spec's for what I have found works...

For the down pipe, I am currently thinking, cut off the existing donut connection. A braided SS connector will hook to the remaining parts...

I may be looking for some people to be guinea pigs for this. Since there is some variance in the different cars, I will want to make sure it fits all of them...

What ratio fmu? Also from my experance when you up your pressure you are basicly just over running the injectors and get a really bad spray pattern and with larger then stock injectors wouldent it idel like crap and run way too rich when not boosting?
