"rare" turbo hood? I see the things all the time, every other T-bird competing at National Trails has that hood.

yeah, actually looks like i still have an inch or 2 left. the nice thing about the daytona hood is that it has 2 "natural bulges" that come down each side which made clearance problems no problem at all.

The problem is you're pressurizing the engine bay now. That keeps air from moving through the rad and will hurt your cooling system and downforce generated. Looks good though, but they need to go somewhere like the air intake.

i cut the rear weatherstrip out so the air flows through the engine bay. theirs no use pushing air in if you cant get it out.

Nope. How can you pressurize the under hood area when you have 2 little holes in the hood letting air in and one BIG hole in the underside? If anything, that hood should help cooling just a wee bit. Besides, there is a dead boundary layer of air just above the hood line on any car. (watch some wind tunnel testing, and you'll see what I mean) Air will not be FORCED into those inlets, more so, it will be sucked in by the pressure differential ABOVE the openings. For a hood scoop to have air FORCED into it, the scoop opening must be above this boundary layer, and placed into the actual airflow over the hood.

Those vents should actually allow a little cooler air to flow over the engine, and should not impact radiator/cooling negatively at all.
