Awesome. Thanks.

I'm all too familiar with the long work weeks. My schedule fluctuates. Some weeks I get lucky with a 40. I've done the 50-60 thing for months at a time. Once I had a 92hr week. It's craziness... and it doesn't leave you much motivation to do much else.

Hey Mike, Just let us know when these units are going to be available, and wich thickness you're planning on going with.

Hi Wink

Obviously you are busy, and so you didn't see that Mike said he isn't going to make them after all. I'm just the messenger now remember.

See this post. Use the LINK.

Mike didn't say that we are not going to make them. He said that the only way we can do it is for it to be a group buy...

So all who are intersted interested in a set should speak up!

We are also looking for a more "definitive" answer on how thick they should be... I don't think anybody has stated how thick they need to be to turn the plenum.

I dont really have time to measure today but I think anyone should be able to measure. It has to clear the distributor and be able to still remove the plug wire (unless you enjoy removing the plenum to do that) to turn the plenum.

1" is more then is necessary but........

I think we should just make a set for a size that will fit under neath most hoods.. Im a forsure buyer if I dont have to butcher my hood to fit my plenum in it..

That is one of the reasons mine were made in 0.5" only.

You could make them 1/2", and people could use 'The Right Stuff' gasket in a can, to slap two .5"ers together for 1"ers.

You just need three pairs of plenum gaskets to stack two sets of spacers. That and even longer bolts... RTV is not needed...

I say go for the 0.5" units. And if they're handsomly priced, I'll just purchase two sets.

You could buy gaskets. You could do it either way. I find the gasket in a can, called 'The Right Stuff', is cheaper for that sort of thing though. You do have to store it right though.
