how does your buddies maxima run? i almost did a maxima instead of my daytona but i wound up using my maxima for work. there is a guy in harrisburg PA who did my tranny,(tilley) he has the second fastest maxima on the org. whats cool about the 4th gen maxima (95-99) is its lighter than the 5th or 6th gen. and if you swap valve covers you can put the 3.5L out of the 350z and still use the factory ecu. then turbocharge and make upwards of 500whp.

btw...i think this charger is going to make more boost than originally anticipated. i have 2 huge boost leaks and it was still making 7psi when i reved it. i hope this bov comes before the weekend...

hey, m90Daytona, what pully diameters are you running? crank and S/C, if your making 7PSI at idle, i will need to ramp it down or ill overboost my motor and blow it up lol

congrats on the idling and driving, once i get my car back, ill be PMing you for more info on your setup, as you got further faster than i have lol

i am not making 7psi at idle. its making 7psi when i rev it. and i am not sure on the s/c pulley diameter (i think its the smallest one you can get) but the udp size is 6in i believe.

The UDP pulley will increase the blower speed, increasing boost. I would reccomend you swap the stock crank pulley on, get it tuned with that, then step it up with the UDP and retune. More room for error on lower boost...

the udp slows the blower down.

2 steps forward, 1 step back.

the fan wasnt working for some reason today and then i found a short to ground on the f-idle circuit. to make a long story short i spent the last 2hrs ohm checking/wire tracing. i somehow managed to plug my passenger side foglite into my evap pigtail coming from the ecu. i feel retarded. i took the evap solenoid out because it was taking up much needed room. and i havent re-installed the foglites yet. the pigtails where laying next to eachother and so not thinking about what they where for, i plugged them in. why did chryser make the pigtails so close to eachother and w/ the same connectors? i know it was stupid on my part but you would think that a foglite would be physically unable to plug into an evap solenoid pigtail. oh well, its fixed now.

probably later this week. i finally got autotune to work last night. it works great! i still dont have the charger piping hooked up because i wanted to tune it n/a first. my afr is reading 12-12.5 under wot and its running really well i think. i want to do a little more tuning n/a before i put the charge pipe back on but it looks like i may actually have the car running boost this week!

btw...as soon as i get all the kinks worked out, i will post a more accurate wiring diagram and all of my tuning parameters for y'all. if anyone has any questions, post them on this thread and i will do my best to answer them.

also, i am going to try and dyno this thing as soon as its done. i want to do an n/a dyno and boosted dyno so i will let you know what the numbers are.

The only question I have for you is: Is the optical Dist pickup working well and how did you wire it up?
