megasquirt wiring diagram for ms2

megasquirt wire/pin# ----------------------- 1993 daytona es stock harness location/color

pin#2 --------------------------------------- not used
pin#7,8,9 ----------------------------------- ground
pin#17,18,19 -------------------------------- ground
pin#20 -------------------------------------- intake air temp sensor (needs installed)
pin#21 -------------------------------------- coolant temp sensor (get gm style and pigtail)
pin#22 -------------------------------------- orange/dark blu trace at tps
pin#23 -------------------------------------- to wideband output
pin#24 -------------------------------------- to distributer wire (white)
pin#25 -------------------------------------- to outside wire of iac
pin#26 -------------------------------------- black/blu trace at tps
pin#27 -------------------------------------- to outside wire of iac
pin#28 -------------------------------------- +12vdc i.e...kickpanel fuse block
pin#29 -------------------------------------- to inside wire of iac
pin#30 -------------------------------------- f-idle to underhood fuse block fan relay
pin#31 -------------------------------------- to inside wire of iac
pin#32,33 ----------------------------------- ground side of injectors bank 1
pin#34,35 ----------------------------------- ground side of injectors bank 2
pin#36 -------------------------------------- ground side of coil
pin#37 -------------------------------------- underhood relay for fuel pump

other notes: ground the other side of the iat and clt sensors. ground the other side of the tps sensor. make sure you hook pin#28 +12vdc to a known good power source that has power w/ ignition on AND WHILE CRANKING. this is very important bacause almost all of your accesory's turn off while cranking so the starter has enough power to turn the motor but ms needs power while cranking to start the car. run power to the coil and fuel injectors w/ a 5amp fuse between the injector wires. these also need power while cranking. i used the same power source for ms, coil and injectors. also, put a 470 ohm resistor between the wire for pin#24 and white wire of distributer. this will allow your factory tach to keep working. hope this helps a little.

I just did a little MS homework, found out that I only need to add a jumper from IGN to JS10.

So Bansheenut will do that for me and then its time to play with Megasquirt when i have time.
