How long do you guys think an A604 would last behind a 3.0 with an M90?

543 should hold up fine. Robert with the turbo 3.0 prototype has quite a few miles on his.

a 543 will hold up fine. They hold up to good power, like their 4cyl counterpart, the 523.

My 543 stood up to 15psi just fine. =D Good idea to get the diff saver brackets in there if you haven't already.

I beat the living hell out of my A543s every single day, and they never broke....until the differential pin let loose and blew the spider gears in and back out the bellhousing. The differential is definetly the weakest link. Try to avoid one wheel peels as much as possible.

The only diff failure I had was a failure of one of the spider gears. It came apart at high speed, destroyed the ring and pinion, but ironically, the pin was fine. It took out the case pretty thoughly too.

I wanted to get a true LSD, but never got around to it. The phantom grip wore out fast (of course) and the car was back to doing one wheel peels again
