Hi, my car is going into the shop on monday to fix some wierd ass electrical probs I been having. I have been looking at an engine for a Stealth, the 3.0 DOHC. I have the 3.0 SOHC in my '92 Daytona. Just wondering, whats the best method? Try to turbo my engine, swap, swap to 2.2 or 2.5, or give up... maybe it's all wishful thinking

heres an option, i put a 2000+ eclipse GT 3.0 in my duster.
Finished: 24v 3.0 swap
thats the thread on my swap. if the daytona has the same engine bay size as a P-body, a DOHC may not actually fit, the 24v SOHC barely fits in the P-body as is....

personally id go with a newer 3.0 or be a pioneer and see if the DOHC would fit

(if you do DOHC you will need a standalone that can do DIS to actually run)

just my .02

Turboing is going to be far easier than putting any of the 24-valve engines in...

Well that car never ran.

if you need to take your car to the shop to fix electrical problems then you wont be able to handle installing a DOHC motor. Very bad investment idea.

That guy was very smart with what he was doing and it didnt get finished.

when doing that type of install you would half to go with a megasquirt or fast system ect...

I wonder how far along that guy is now or did he even messed with it yet?
