If I am being more accurate, the "R" in gt35r is the DBB designation.
I believe gt35e is technically the name for the non dbb.
gt3582 (56 trim) is the "good" compressor wheel.
Like I said, a precision sc6152 is basically a gt35 without dbb. well...the compressor wheels are the same but I believe the gt35 has the more "advanced" turbine wheel design.
Remember this page says 400-600hp but you can always make less by keeping the boost down.
That URL SHOWs the different exhaust options. I personally would go with the .63 a/r (the smallest) unless you are trying to make some "uber" hp.

You will find a lot of 1.6-2.0L engine size folk using this turbo on their street cars so dont be scared of it. If you think full boost at 1500 rpms is a good idea, well then enjoy the car that is impossible to drive and all the stupid tickets you will get.
Anyways I think its very important to be careful about buying your turbo. Ive messed up on that multiple times. lol ive even recently seen a TDer who is very knowledgable purchase a worthless ebay turbo that is damaged and which he will not be able to fix. he just wasnt being careful. Turbo shopping can make you jump at something that seems cheap, or enticed you to buy something you dont need or cant really afford. if you ever feel like "i have to buy it now or I will miss this magical opportunity" thats probably when you should NOT buy it.
If Frank is still on this website, he knows a lot about the gt35R & the sc6152
