Will a 1990 3.0 crank fit and work properly in a 1989 3.0? I have an '89 3.0 to rebuild and a 1990 crank that has already been cleaned and had the journals polished. Don't want to waste that $45 if I can avoid it.

What about balancing / rebalancing it all?

its the same, as long as the journals are good i wouldn't worry about a balance and blueprint unless its going to be racing purpose.
