why did you put a t2 t3 combo in it. the 3.0 plate is the same as the t3 plate and the disk is as well.
160 t stat is to cold. tried on on my old 3.0 car ran to rich and didnt have any power increases

but nice car though

Its easier to get the t2/t3 combo from fwdperformance. its still a sachs unit though.

And i agree about the 160*, too low, atleast run a 180*.

Even with all your mods, unless you pull alot of weight w/10:1+overbore, you'r more than likely looking at mid/high 15's.

And isn't that T-trac LSD like phantom grips LSD, if so then its crap for the track or any real drag. OBX or Quaife all the way!

Josh Simon busted mid 14s with basically those mods. Brent in his spirit got into the 14s with similar mods....he had a flywheel i think too though. Although josh was in a sundance and brent was in a spirit.

Well i guess we need to see this happen again, i thought the curb weight of the Spirits are close to the G bodies, 3000+lbs, which is why i figure it would need a bit of weight removed, i know a P body is gonna be quicker and might get 14's with those mods which is pretty nice.

Either way, i was just my 2 cents, not negative commenting. It is a good looking spirit either way. Unlike my multicolor daytona (dang ohio weather! )

ide say it will pull a 14. no interor, or heat, and i run around the streets with a bunch of hondas that had ran low 15's and high 14 i always pull a nice few car leghts them. . yea thoes lsd are kinda junk, mine has the clutch plates on it , but i will up grade to a obx later on down the road, it hooks up ok on hot days with the 225's but im sure it wont hold up to slicks

Josh had 10:1 and I think we decided his race weight was 2700# or so when he went 14.2@ and had those 97mph traps.

v6 spirits in the later years (93-95) were only available as a "highline" package which means the most absolute base model possible.

about 2850 pound curb weight. Remove some weight, add a driver and you have a 3000# or less car.

Ive got video from bansheenut of my 14 second spirit running high 15's here @ high elevation.
My last trip to sea level I couldnt race because i took my good clutch and put it in the duster and at sea level the car made too much power for the stock clutch to hold on shifts.
Spirit doesnt have aluminum flywheel anymore but with a healthier longblock its actually running faster at high elevation.

Good driver, good 60', and 14's are there.
zzdust josh, josh simon, sean dalton, myself, and a few others have all pulled it off.

The people stuck in the 15's are just too heavy or not driving well.
When I went 14's my first runs were mid 15's with lazy driving and poor 60'. Increased the drivers side airshock pressure, dropped the 60's + drove balls out and easily broke into the 14's. When im driving with a good clutch Im chirping the tires shifting to 4th gear....even when my spirit doesnt have much power n/a and Im running 225 tires that are 25.5" in diameter.

True i did leave out the 10:1 compression Josh was running...my bad. I didnt mean to sound negative Rouge ....sorry for that. Just saying that with some good driving 14s should not be an issue. Thanks for the input brent.
