Here it is folks. The new daily driver and project car for the turbo(s) setup.

I didn't want to get any pics of her until I had the wheels swapped over from the Lebaron.

I don't plan on putting a 5 speed into this vehicle just yet. I just put a fresh rebuilt A604 into her. But who knows? If the "performance" rebuild that was done on this unit doesn't last, then maybe a 5 speed swap will be on the way.

I chuckled a bit after I put on the wheels. They just don't fill out the wheel well much. But that's ok by me, for now. I do plan on lowering the van. But I have yet seen a decent way to do the rear (other than having the springs re-curved at a shop that knows what they're doing.

Yea, it's tagged with PA plates for now. I purchased the van from my sister's fiance. Basically back where I had grown up. But, my sister and her family live out in the Millerville area. About 45 minutes from my home town.

Mike, that's a GORGEOUS van!

You absolutely must turbo it. Take on where I left off! If I could have afforded it, I would have bought your LeBaron in a heartbeat.

Do what I did. Take out the two shortest leaves, and then slap on an Air-Lift ride control kit #59520.

. It rides great, and it is very versatile.

Here's a link to the kit on Summit.

Nice van there by the way. Very sweet.

Sorry to bring a thread back from the dead. But I just had to. The past week has seen a few advances in the projected turbo 3.0L for this minivan. If all works out as well as I anticipate, I just might have a working prototype turbo header within the next couple weeks.

Three days ago, I received the last few items required to fabricate the manifold. And with my new job, I've got my boss to help teach me ( or just do it himself) to TIG it all together.

After this reaches completion, all there is left is to plumb the oil system for the turbo and make a decent flowing (but quiet) exhaust system.

Fuel is going to be added by the use of larger injectors with lower base fuel pressure, and a BEGi FMU. Later on, I'll fine tune the setup with a true fuel injector controller

Yes. I have successfully mated this diesel turbo (T04B) to a .69 A/R on-center turbine housing.
