Try messing around a front manifold to fit on the rear, for a potential cheapskate way.

Performance Solutions, McMaster-Carr, a trusty welding machine, and a grinder/cutoff wheel will be your best friends for fabrication of a manifold.

My idea before was to just buy a flange. cut off the bolt tabs on a spare front manifold, and weld a new flange on so it will bolt correctly to the rear head in backwards fashion.

or what you could do it make the rear out let the waste gate spot. and run it in to the turbo exhust pipe. and that way you dont have to malke a header or anything like that, just use a stock down pipe and make it bolt to the waste gate.

ok take the stock manifold and make a pipe that bolts on to the spot for the stock down pipe(after you cut that off) and make that the waste gate spot. and then put the turbo on the cross over pipe and run the exhuost out....

Not really a new idea. Not really an idea that functions well either. Its been done before in a less ridiculous fashion.

WHen you have a manifold designed that horribly (asking exhaust to make a 180 deg turn and flow into something the wrong direction....
You dont also install an external wastegate that only covers the rear cylinders.

You might as well run an internal wastegate turbo.

Again, the whole idea makes no sense.
