Re: P-body 24v updates

UPDATE! :) well not really... Been working on getting the MS prepped for the re-wire and possibly adding some extra features to it. Might add vehicle speed and gear calculations, and maybe a few other goodies, not sure what else at the moment though. Just wish spring would get here sooner and it stops snowing so I can get back to work on Lucy...

Re: P-body 24v updates

Almost lost the sunroof today. Freak snowstorm dropped 16"-18" instead of 6-"-10". Pop up garage gave up under the weight, and had the frame resting on the sunroof completely compressing the seal. Had to take a razor knife to slice up the tarp to get the pressure off the sunroof (it was torn already, wrote it off at this point). I am very surprised and pleased that the sunroof didn't get damaged...

Re: P-body 24v updates

not for a while, gotta let this batch of snow melt down somewhat. Kind of a bummer, it was getting to the point I could work on it prior to this snowstorm. I am getting the 1970 Honda CB350 on the road, got new tires and got it registered, just have to get it inspected! :)

Re: P-body 24v updates

I'd rate it as "good", but not excellent, but still very rideable and fun. Not bad for the price of "free" :-)

Re: P-body 24v updates

those temp garages really suck, one ripped the mirror off my Challenger and it cost $850 to replace it. Better to get a car cover and a HD tarp and tarp over the cover.

Re: P-body 24v updates

Nice Idea Pope!

Technically its Alicia's bike, but its the only one running ATM (the '78 Yamaha XS650SE 's motor is being rebuilt due to a holed piston)

Re: P-body 24v updates

Pseudo-update:

New toy for when the car is running - a GoPro Hero3 White edition with mounting goodies! :) Gotta love surprise gifts from parents. Plus I can catch all the idiots on camera trying to run me over when I'm on the motorcycle...

Re: P-body 24v updates

Been a while since my last update...

Lucy specific stuff:
I actually got to spend time and finish the interior wiring of the MS, knocksenseMS, LC-1 and dash connections, only thing left is the manifold line to the MS. I did it better this time so aside from the MS, relay board and such in that "pocket" of the center console, you'd never know it was Megasquirted. I may still create a cover for that area to keep it even more stealth... Now I just have to remember where all the rest of the engine bay wiring went...

On other topics, I'm selling the 1970 CB350 as we got a new, more reliable Kawasaki Ninja 300. AND my wife got her motorcycle license as well! :) The Ninja is now my primary way to get to work (rain or shine) until the weather gets too cold or snowy. Hence why I'm working on getting Lucy back up and running :)
