Thanks guys, and yes, it sounds VERY nice in the upper RPMs. Good news today though, Got it through emissions this morning and got my registration done as well. so its pretty much legal on the road. Just need to go from storage insurance to road on monday, but other than that, shes GTG. I think i need to add a little more fuel up top as i think im getting around 15:1 at WOT, but for the most part, its got me giddy and grinning like a fool while driving it.

Got some other little odds and ends to tie up on it (speedo, VC leak, very small tip-in bog, gauges). ill see if i cant get a vid of a burnout as this thing can lite em up real good

man, ive been grinning since friday night! :-D have to get used to the torquesteer though. went to pass someone this morning and came within 2 feet of their car when i got on it. anything more than cruse throttle and you have to counter-steer to some degree. still need to do some fine tuning on the tune, but it is SOOOOO smooth and easy now. a couple tweaks here and there and ill have a great DD tune.

A big thanks to everyone that helped me by answering questions and keeping me going. its all been worth it.

Im not taking it back to school with me tomorrow (although i REALLY want to) but i think that a bit more tweaking and fixing things is in order before a 6 hour (400 mile) trip. ill see if i cant get a driveby, burnout and 4 gear rip (with speedo this time) before i leave tomorrow.

well, went to go back to school today in the lumina (was going to leave the duster til summer) and i get 140 miles into the 400 mile trip, and we get to the biggest hill in the trip when the torque converter or OD in the trans decides to give up the ghost. it took me a second to realize i was bouncing off the rev limiter and SLOWING down up the hill. left a small puddle of trans fluid on the road and have a louder tick somewhere in the motor (pushrod or rocker i bet). so after 5+ hours of waiting and riding in towtrucks, im back where i started, at home with classes at 8am tomorrow 400 miles away. guess im not making classes tomorrow!

anyways, ill be taking my duster back as thats the only other spare car left. a couple odds and ends to tie up before i clean it out, pack it up and head out on the 400 mile trip. hey, at least the cluch will be broken in by the time i get to school :-p what an interesting 3 days so far...

heres a couple vids for you guys

Burnout!

thanks guys, i thought youd enjoy those vids, esp. the burnout. LSD FTW! as for the 100 in a 35, its a section of road ive seen a cop on TWICE in the last 5 years. no real ins or outs except the town line where i started the run and a road a good 2.5 miles away.

I was just giving you crap, dude. Congrats for sure...I know you've been working on this thing for a while!

BTW, LSD's are friggin awsome...just be careful! Under power, whatever way the wheels are pointed, that's where you're going! My car has a tad of bumpsteer, so I have to be VERY careful about this! I also overpowered BOTH tires going around a corner the other day! I had to pedal it to get it back on track! Just be careful is all I'm saying.

Yeah, I went over a full lane with Bansheenut in the car because I wasnt expecting the tires to break loose in third and l let the steering wheel point slightly to the left. Car normally goes straight but stupid driver = lane changes :P

Seems like you still have a lot of work to do on your tune from what you are saying....do you actually have a wideband running with the MS or what are you using?

Fried rice sounds graet, or maybe a mustang stir fry.

Wok on Shadow24V, wok on.

brent, i have an LC-1 hooked into the MS as a permanent install. my tune is 1000 times better than earlier this week, its the "fine tuning" left.

wish me luck, 6 hour drive to school in the duster this afternoon. leaving within the hour... *crosses fingers*
