Very nice. Looks like it has really great pull. An M-90 on that 24v will really be something.

By the way I don't think you "sound goofy" at all. :)

yeah pushing the car home sucks!
Im sorta pissed you had free time to work on your car. Jealous! Ive got my most busywork semester in my college career and it happens on my last full semester
I didnt think you were going to have any time o work on your car this semester.
Way cool that you're MS is working now. I definitly will need help taping into the stock relays. I bought a 2nd P-body engine bay harness just to use with MS.

i lucked out, the house i stopped infront of was a gearhead, and he used is 30's ford truck and a tow strap to pull me home.

as for the MS wiring, id buy a labeled wiring bundle from DIYAutotune.com and make your own for the MS. i still have blinkers (4 ways never worked) and just about everything else. i think the plug on my speedo is not connected (cant remember) cause theres no reason it shouldnt work.

i lucked out and had a 4 day mini-break and went home to get the use of the96 lumina that no one was driving, and i gave a new sensor a shot monday before i had to leave tuesday. not much time but its a start

Oh, I have one of the DIY harnesses. I just wanted a spare harness to tap into for relays and whatever else. When I have time I will strip off all the "extra" wires.

i have an EDIS setup too but it requires different wires on the MS board. I want to minimize. Im happy with the coil setup for now.

From what I have read EDIS cant go above 7500 rpms reliably for 6 cylinder....which I think is about the same as the limit of our 12v distributor.

For your setup it seems easier to go with the EDIS then figure out a good signal to send to MS. The dohc guys dont have any stock signals that work for MS right now. I wasnt sure if your distributor could send a readable signal.

ahh, i thought it was in the 8-9K range where EDIS crapped out. *shrug* as for the dizzy, the 24v one is out of phase or something so it was impossible for me to get reliable spark, period.

that range you are thinking of is for the 4 cylinders.
the 8 cylinders can barely go over 6k rpms.

Thats one problem about EDIS. distributors have similar weaknesses when they only have one coil.
The EDIS just sends erratic signals when the rpms get too high.
