Well, had a "fun" time last night lol. went up to the g/f's parents house for dinner and to put my all seasons back on teh car (forcasing snow flurries this evening lol) and when i jacked the rear up i wasn't thinking and jacked just forward of the trailing arm....and i busted the brake ahrdline going to the drivers side rear mind you its 8:30 at night and the nearest parts store is 20 minutes away. Luckly my g/f's dad had the right size hardline and one of the 2 fittings i needed. we carefully drilled out the one fitting for the prop valve and used the new one on the end that goes into the trailing arm flex line. so 3 hours later, i have a new brake line and can finally head home at midnight. so much for getting to bed early when you have an hour drive to get home.

one bonus is i have 1 of the 6 hardlines replaced the old line was DEF rusting badly and had weak points in it so im sure it probably would have failed sooner or later. Im thinking i'll do the rest of the hard lines, get SS flex lines and do the rear disc swap this winter (rear brakes arn't that great. drivers side mostly works, passenger side hardly slows the wheel lol. also going to replace the other front caliper from phenolic to metal piston and get remaned metal piston calipers for the rear)

Man, I'd fix those brakes before ANYTHING else! I know going fast and all is fun, but slowing down is WAY more important!

well, had another "fun" night friday night. went to go up to my g/f's parents house and getting on the highway, the alternator decides to start seizing up, eats the alternator belt which took out the crank sensor. Luckly NMW2006 was up working on his R/T at my apartment and got the new crank sensor and alt belt so i could limp "Lucy" back to the apartment. Replaced the alternator yesterday (freaking $130 for a remanned ) but at least my noisy crickets are gone now too :) lol

Can't wait for turbopalooza this saturday as i really want to see if i can get a good 60' with launch control

how many miles do you think were on the alternator? Glad you had the parts.

probably less than 100K on the used alternator. It had the "lucky crickets" since the day i got it but it charged so i kept it *shrug*

I was lucky NMW2006 could get the parts as it would have been ridiculous to use a AAA tow for 5 miles lol
