i am creating this thread to move updates to the 3.0 subforum. please feel free to comment, question etc on what im doing.

UPDATE:

well, the USPS finally "found" my TU differential and delivered it yesterday. Original box was used as pading for the new box and even the new box was half damaged. reminds me why i ship things UPS lol

bought the mitsu PS hose and the dodge one, and the local hydraulic shop coupled them. i will have power steering!
(post pics later)

i hope to get the tranny in and the suspension assembled today but who knows.

ok, i was way too optimistic this morning

i did get the OBX diff installed with new axle seals and Diff bearings. i dint do the drain plug mod i wanted to though next time the tranny is out i guess. i also ground out the relief in the bellhousing for the oil pan bolt thingy that screwed me up the first time. Made up 6 alignment studs for installing the tranny out of 12x1.75 threaded rod. also mounted by AFPR.

got my custom PS hoses installed and the coupled hi-pressure hose fits nice, yay for power steering! too bad my phone was dumb and didnt save the pictures of the hoses...

the one in the pic is.....

but that came out (0 miles on it though). FWDPerf. 4 puck and HD pp went in while the tranny was out. if a stock clutch and a stock motor slips in 2nd, a stock clutch behing MORE power would be bad

p.s: brand new stock clutch and stock diff w/ savers up for sale...

well, took apart the diff case again and drilled and tapped a drain hole. plugged it with a chunk of M12x1.75 threaded rod and RTV. got the tranny mostly lined up but it doesnt want to thread into the clutch disc. Taking a break so i don't get pissed off at it ill get it in tomorrow i guess.

9 out 10 times if the trans input shaft does not engage the clutch disk, the clutch disk is not properly centered... Been there done that...

well, went out to work on the car today and wouldnt you know it, i wiggle the tranny once and it thunks into place! Also got the clutch cable and shifter linkages hooked up and installed the solid bobble strut. (should be interesting with poly motor mounts, solid bobble strut)

i was aided by my GENUINE MOPAR $150 trans alignment tool though....(basically lengths of M12x1.75 threaded rod with a notch in em for a regular screwdriver. insert into block, slide on trans, remove one by one and replace with mounting bolts )

and in use here...

Also, this is why i had to notch the bellhousing. you can see the cast aluminum oil pan bolt that was interfereing with the alignment before. and how this notch aleviates said issue

looks great! were those bolts really $150? I just cut the heads off a couple bolts and it worked great, made installation a lot easier.

the $150 is a joke.....
all it was was a $6 threaded rod from MSC and an air cutter

ok, il start off with the dumb question first: i have an AFPR from ebay (read cheap bastard) and it didnt come with destructions, soooo, i know which one is the manifold vacuume port, but which one is the fuel in and which one is fuel out? im thinking bottom is in, and side is out, but *shrug*. also the adjuster nut, tighten = less pressure or more? ive never played with one before! 0.o

ok, well heres the good news. i finished my coilover mod and got both right and left suspensions fully assembled. next up is filling the tranny with some AMSoil 5w-30, bolting the front header and starter in, the AFPR and the ignition box and im back to tuning!
heres the coilovers
