They were non-intercooled setups that used a TD05-16G turbo with a custom turbine housing with two inlets.

I believe he just has prototype intake. Most of his turbo setup was fabricated by himself.

Chief has one that he puchased from Robert, but I believe he ended up using a different turbo, only kept the intake and exhaust manifolds. I haven't talked to either of them lately though, so I may be remembering wrong.

I got to ride in Robert's Duster when everything was working fine, and it pulls harder in 4th from 45mph than any other car does in 3rd.

Thats not what i was refering to.
He went with a forged crank and pauter rods.
Pauter rods are no longer the best rod choice though as Ray pampena now supplies rods that are lighter then stock and will hold any power level you can imagine and they cost $1050. About the same as a set of pauter rods, and the pauter rods are soooo much heavier then stock that IMO they mean the crankshaft becomes a weakness with less hp.

I think I am just fine with stock rods and cast crank for the time being.

I didnt know all the specifics of his build. I was just asking if he had used Ross pistons ...not that Ross pistons are better or stronger or anything like that. I just remember seeing and reading about it just a little.

Doesn't Chief live in central Ohio? I had my turbo Duster at a car show over the weekend and someone asked me if I knew him...

Dusty, EVERYBODY on this board lives in Ohio, or so it seems. Not sure what city Chief is living in now, but he was still in Ohio last I heard.
Come to think of it, I think he dropped off of here a while back.

Then I'm quite disappointed by the fact that I'm always the only turbo Dodge at car shows!
