When I bought my '93 Shadow ES V6, it had a set of fairly cheap looking 7mm wires on it. One of the wires had some pretty good rub marks on it from touching the underside of the hood or something.

I put some RTV silicone on the worn part of the wire, and 43,000 miles later, they are still on the car.

I put a new set of plugs in the motor shortly after buying the car. I've never pulled them out to look at them since then.

I used to be much more strict about my car maintenance, I've really slacked off in the last few years.
