im still looking for dimante cams, decied not to use the turbovanman race cams becasue of the lack of info on them and if they will clear my 10.1 pistons, will spend the money on a rear sway bar instead,

i found one pair for 200, but if any one whats to pull a set form a pick your part , il pay you for the cams and pay you for pulling em, !

i would rather call crower then pay 200 for diamante cams.
They can probably make you some much longer duration cams that dont increase lift very much. That would be similar to the camshafts chris grimm has in his RPW built daytona.

the rpw cams are 424 lift they say they will work with the 10.1 pistons, and from the info i from turbovanman is his cams are 402. but i dident want to use them with stock valve springs, rpw has the springs but the shipping is almost as much as the springs,

any one knoe is chris is still around on any of the message boards. dident reeper have some nice cams reground too?

Are these cams in Diamontes with the 3000 series engine? I saw a few of those at the boneyard around here recently if that's the one to look for. Not sure the exact years or engine combo has the cams we want.

I'm 90% sure that you can use Starquest (Starion-Conquest) turbo springs, "Schneider 6610 Heavy duty" Available here down the page a bit...
Engine Machine Service, Inc.

I had all the specs sorted out and lined up one day, then my 'pooter locked up before I could bookmark everything, and haven't found the pages since.

Anyhoo, that would be something to look into if you needed stronger springs for a fatter cam.

New stock springs have worked for me so far but my valves are about 12 grams lighter then stock (something like 80 gram vs 92ish). .

With lot of valvespring setups, I think you sometimes will collapse lifters before you float valves so better springs often need to be paired up with titanium spring retainers.

But if someone could figure out a source for aftermarket valvesprings (since no one in the USA lists things for our engines) that would be cool.

This is the kind of info that we would sticky and we should all remember to help the platform grow etc etc etc.

I HAD a set of Diamante cams on here about a month or 2 ago, no one wanted them, so they went to eBay. And I got a whole lot less for them then they were worth.
