ok, im doing some preliminary footwork in preparation to boost my 24v with a supercharger. i was thinking a 3" piping kit and an intercooler such as this one Ebay intercooler

i will probably not be going over 10 psi currently, so is 3" piping and the ebay cooler too big for my application? I really want to intercool my boosted app as the 24v doesnt take well to high intake temps under boost.

2.5" would be fine for your desires. You can probably use 2.5" to 3" adapters from xo2 racing (like 20 bucks each and they come with 2 t-bolt clamps, a 2.5 and a 3)

I wouldnt say 3" is too big...I guess the only thing is that your supercharger is a positive displacement type so I dont think it deals with extra space as well as a turbo.

I would rather go big then too small.
But a 3" thick mishomoto ebay intercooler is great for 300whp and I think a lot of people use them with a lot less hp.

good. cause i REALLY dont want to break the ring lands off my pistons with detonation and high intake temps. (hence the intercooling to begin with) Even though the RIPP S/C isnt intercooled, i believe it doesnt put out as much heat as an M90.... id rather be safe than rebuilding my 71k mile motor
